About Dr. Tokeshi

Born and raised in Hononlulu, Hawai’i, Dr. Chris Tokeshi is a board-certified psychiatrist providing tailored psychiatric care for adults, adolescents, and children. He earned his medical degree from the University of Hawai’i John A. Burns School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He went on to complete his general psychiatry residency and subspecialty fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Hawai’i, serving as Chief Fellow during his final year.Dr. Tokeshi has presented nationally and locally on topics including anxiety, depression, psychopharmacology, attention-deficit disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), gender diversity, trauma-informed care, and psychopharmacology. He is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Hawai’i, John A. Burns School of Medicine. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their golden-doodle, Boo Magoo.
